Jaeyeon Park

Korean pianist Dr. Jaeyeon Park’s recent concerts in Korea were held in the Seoul Arts
Center, Kumho Art Hall, Youngsan Art Hall, Cheongju City Hall, Gyeonggi Arts Center,
Gwangju Arts Center, Gwangju Usquare Kumho Art Hall, Yongju Cultural Center, Sunchon
Arts Center and Gwangju City Cultural Center. She has also appeared as a soloist with the
Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, Gwangju Symphony Orchestra, Benusto Orchestra and the
Ukraine Kiev National Radio Orchestra where her performance of Mozart's C major Piano
Concerto K.467 was broadcast on KBS-FM. Other recent performances in Asia include
Qingdao University and Osaka University. She is a founding member of the trio Uno Animo
which has been broadcast on MBC-FM and KBS-FM and KBC-TV. She has been the Music
Director of Ensemble-On since 2018. She has received numerous grants from the South
Korean government for support of her concerts.
Dr. Park graduated BM with highest honors from Seoul National University. Subsequently
she graduated MM and DMA from the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at
Austin.She taught for 12 years at Chosun University in South Korea as a Professor of Piano where she served as Department Chair for 6 years. She was awarded Chosun University’s Faculty Award of Excellence in Teaching in 2010, 2011, and 2020 and Award of Excellence in
Research in 2012, 2013, and 2016. Currently, Dr. Park is an Adjunct Lecturer in Piano at UA
Little Rock Extended Education.
